Community Food Insecurity
Weekly, we receive 400–500 kg of rescued food, which is converted into meals and food parcels that we provide to individuals and families.
Since July 2023 – May 2024, we have rescued 15,220 kg of food, which fed and engaged 10,474 adults and 4,812 children.
Community Resource
We created a safe and secure space for our most vulnerable community members to engage with services that we host, such as Drug and Alcohol, Mental Health, Centrelink, Corrections, and Legal Aid.
Every Thursday since October 2022, our service hub has provided reliable and relational connections to supports, fostering hundreds of sustained outcomes.
Community Advocacy
We value each and every single voice in our community, many unheard for their entire lives. We foster self-determination on an individual and community level.
The Voice Of Warrawong survey collected 150 stories from community members, informing our service delivery and hopes for the future, which authored the VOW Statement.
Community Celebration
We host two major events each year, along with our Christmas appeal, which bring the community together, lift spirits, foster positive connections, celebrate diversity, and create memorable experiences.
We provided 222 Christmas Hampers and 269 Christmas Gifts in Christmas 2023.
